When discovering what career options are best for you be sure to follow the steps below:

1. Explore Careers

* Complete Career Surveys
* View the Occupational Handbook
* Attend local career fairs
* Job Shadowing

2. Examine Educational Options

College Information

* Perform a Google College search. Look up colleges that match your career options and fit your needs.

* Register for the ACT. This test is more High School curriculum based.

and/or

* Register for the SAT . This test is an analytical and reasoning test.

* Click this link for our Education Resource Partner. The site provides a wealth of information about the following: preparing for school interviews, school visits, reading lists, school applications, applying for financial aid, and packing for college.

** Students athletes who wish to play college sports should check out the NCAA requirements before appying for college.

To serach for apprenticeships visit the Occupational Handbook. Make sure to type apprenticeship in the search the handbook text box.
