How to Enroll
Dear future Students and Parents/Guardians:
Thank you for your interest in Shroder High School. We give priority admission status to incoming seventh graders from Paideia feeder schools. This means that each year by the end of the application process our school is full. However, during the school year some students, for various reasons do leave Shroder This allows us to then accept students from other non-Paideia schools.
If you have an interest in attending Shroder High School please follow either step A or B listed for admission.
Either Step A: Admission process for 6 grade students currently enrolled in a Paideia feeder school.
* Register in person during the magnet school registration period.
* Meet the standards to move to the next grade level (7th).
* Sign the twelve principals of Paideia commItment statement.
* If you do not register your child in person during the magnet school enrollment period you
forfeit your priority status and you will have to follow the open enrollment admission process listed below.
Or Step B: Admission process for students in grades 7-12 not currently enrolled in a Paideia Feeder school.
* Parent/Guardian fills out an APPLICATION (click link), attaching transcripts or last grade card.
* Submit a letter that states the reasons for wanting to attend Shroder Paideia Academy.
* Submit two letters of recommendation.
* Sign the twelve principals of Paideia commitment statement.
* The grade level team will contact you for an interview.
* After the interview the team will determine acceptance and a recommendation will be made to the
administration.
* Once all of the above criteria have been met we will put your child on our waiting list, and you will be contacted by the enrollment clerk as placements become available.
Upon admittance students need the following:
* Birth Certificate
* Immunization Records from a Medical Institution, Pediatrician, or City Health Department
* Proof of Address which can be in the form of Utility bill, Water Bill, Copy of Lease Agreement
