Shroder High School inplements the Paideia teaching philosophy, a three-column approach that uses didactic instruction, intellectual coaching, and group seminars to develop essential critical thinking skills, produces a culture of life long learning and prepares students to go forth to make productive contributions to the community-at-large. Our bottom line is to provide the best education for every student. In individual and group settings, students learn in a safe and respectful environment that is conducive to nurturing growth and development for all students, as well as teachers and staff. Faculty members are trained in the Paideia philosophy and are experts at encouraging students to discuss their learning processes through guided seminars, which in turn guides students in developing and communcating solutions to complex problems--a central tenet of a Paideia school.
