Words of the Week

In the quest to improve our students' communication skills while expanding the community lexicon, we like to introduce our "Words of the Week." Each week, we will feature a daily list of words that help enrich daily conversations and hopefully, lead to more meaningful, elevated dialogue. This week's theme: ACT Vocabulary

Monday – Discrepancy (noun)- A lack of compatibility or similarity between two or more facts

TuesdayDisinclined (adj.)-- Willing or positive about an action, belief, or attitude (disinclined: unwilling or negative about something)

WednesdayDismay (verb)- Consternation and distress, typically caused by something unexpected

Thursday Disposition (noun)- (1) A person's inherent qualities of mind and character (2) An inclination or tendancy

Friday  Dynamic (adj)- Characterized by constant change, activity or progress
